Smartbaits Softbaits Brute Freshwater Lures

Smartbaits introduces their newest color-changing, creature-inspired soft bait called the “Brute”.  This Flippin’ Bait or Punch Bait has a unique ribbed design to trap air pockets, which release air as it falls, giving the bait a pulsating life like tail. This helps make it look more like a Bass’ favorite food – crayfish and the large head on this bait helps to hold a hook extremely well. Of course, the color changing technology, to go from brighter colors in the warmer part of the water column, which transition to darker colors in the colder part of the water column, make Smartbaits act like real life forage trying to camouflage themselves with the bottom.  The Brute’s streamlined design is ideal for penetration in dense vegetation.
